John is knowledgeable about the area and the fish. He was great with my child. He stays on location where fish are known to hit instead of running the water.  He is patient and determined to hit the limit.  We will book with him again.

Capt. Wood worked hard throughout the day to put us on fish.

Knowledgable and explains everything he is thinking or doing.  Teaches as he guides.  Good conversationalist.  Knows where the fish are and how to try to catch them.  Would recommend him to anyone.

Once the storm moved out and we were able to go out, it turned out to be a great day. Limited out on trout fairly quickly and started fishing reds. Captain John is great at what he does! Definitely use him again!

Captain John is a great communicator. The weather outlook wasn’t the best, but our timeline was tight. He made it happen and we felt safe. Caught some keepers, hope to come back with better weather and get more!
