Captain Wood is an excellent guide.  We’ve been fishing for many many years and never did we catch as many fish as we did with captain Wood!  It was a very fun and exciting time!  I’ve recommended him to my friends and they will be calling him to book their next fishing trip.  Thank you Captain for your professionalism and for teaching us several new techniques on catching fish!  It was a blast!

Captain John is the best - he was patient with us (we’re not experienced) and was all around fun to be with and informative. We didn’t feel like any of our questions were stupid questions. We had an exceptional trip.  The boat was nice and the equipment was top notch.  We were staying in a house on the bay which was on the way to fishing ground so Captain John offered to pick us up at our pier.  We caught our limit of trout and then switched to reds.  Caught a few reds with a nice keeper.  He brought us back to our pier at the end of the trip and cleaned and packaged the fish.  It was a great trip and we will book again with Captain John when we return to Rockport!

Captain John was spot on.  I took my wife and my 2 younger sons (9 &12) for my 12 year old birthday.  The weather was not ideal we had 20 MPH winds from the north but Captain John was persistent and he still managed to get us on the fish.  My boys had a great time catching fish.  We are definitely going to be booking many more trips to come.

Kids and I had a great time. The boat is fast and got us to the location quickly. The fish weren’t biting as much as we’d like but we tried several locations, caught about 7 keepers.
