My husband, 16 year old and I went out last week on a half day morning fishing trip.  Capt Jerome and Pancho were wonderful and fun to fish with.  We tried trolling and jigging but didn’t come up with anything so we went to bottom fishing and had some luck there. They explained it was off season for the bigger game fish and so we set our expectations accordingly. The guys were super nice and Pancho was great with my 16 year old. Pancho fed the albatross the unused bait on the way back to shore so that was fun to watch! After coming back as others have mentioned we took our catch to the restaurant and they fried the fish for us with some sides for $10/pp.  The owner of the business Matthias sat with us during lunch and we had great conversation about fishing, places visited, the value of exposure to different cultures and people in gaining understanding of our common humanity. Wow, didn’t mean to get that deep!  But anyways, it was a wonderful experience and so nice to feel like we had an authentic exchange with locals as one doesn’t typicallly get that at the resorts.  I HIGHLY recommend this charter, great people trying to make an honest living. Crew was great

We had a wonderful trip with Mario and Manuel.  It was a bit windy, but a beautiful day. I’ve always wanted to deep sea fish, and this was my main attraction for my birthday trip.

Mario was an awesome captain! Very professional and friendly. We caught a couple of Mahi Mahi, and enjoyed the sea.

He then hooked us up with restaurant on shore to have our fish cleaned and cooked. It was delicious! Highly recommend!

Matthias and crew are great, very focused on making sure you have a great experience, we caught two Mahi-Mahi and a needle fish.
They were very attentive, took us snorkeling to a beautiful reef and beach.
We highly recommend them and we will sure to book with them any time we are back to Playa del Carmen !

Great time out on the water.had a really nice amber jack but unfortunately a shark took all but the head with it.
Overall a great time. The captain spoke Spanish, English, and German which was a plus to communicate well and have the best possible time.
Some of us are experienced fishers and he was willing to teach us some jigging techniques. We all had a great time
