Had a great time with Captain and his first mate Craig.  Both men are fully experienced in Salmon/Trout fishing.  While everybody knows sometimes fish are biting and sometimes they are not, these men do their best to try different techniques and baits to make it happen.  They are part of a community of other boats who communicate where the fish are biting to give those of us paying the best experience possible.  I’m an avid musky & pike fisherman so the hands on experience I fully enjoyed and truly learned new things from them.  Sit back and relax if you prefer them to do most of the work as they read through the digital graphs, or get involved, it’s up to you.  I forgot my GoPro camera on the boat and I live 2 hours away.  It took us a week to accomplish a meet up because our schedules are different, but it as safely returned.  I share this because these are trustworthy guys who truly enjoy catering to their guests while going fishing and get to Make some money in the process.  Thanks again for a full day!

Captain Daryl and First Mate Craig are top-notch! They were excellent at navigating the waters and hooking fish. Great boat and first-class equipment. We booked the 8-hour trip and caught plenty of silver and lakers. Beautiful day on the lake and a truly incredible experience. I would recommend Merganzer Fishing Charters to anyone, without hesitation. We’ll definitely be booking again soon!

Our crew had a great time with Captain Daryl. We had 2 adults and 4 teenage boys and we each caught a fish (3 lake trout, 2 coho salmon and 1 king salmon). It was a perfect day. Captain Daryl has all the proper equipment and experience to find fish and blanket the area as you troll, giving you the best chance at successfully hooking fish. I would highly recommend booking an outing with captain Daryl.

We had a fantastic time.  Daryl and Craig are great.  So knowledgeable, helpful and Friendly.  We caught 9 fish in 5 hours.  The last one was a 10+ pound Lake Trout.  They prepared and filet all of the fish and we walked off the boat with over 15 pounds of fish.  I HIGHLY recommend their charter.  We definitely will go fishing with them again.

We had a great 6 hour morning outing! Daryl and Craig worked hard to keep us on the fish. Netted 13 fish and had a few more that got away.
