Captain Armando is awesome !

Fantastic trip with a great guide. Capt. Armando took 3 of us to Flamingo Everglades. I caught a 3-lb snook on first cast—and 3 more in next 6 minutes.

Plus over a dozen other snook, grunts, ladyfish. A blackfin shark too. And a keeper redfish we ate for lunch next day.

More important than the catching is the whole social experience. Capt. A was industrious and a good talker, eager to help. Knowledgeable about the area—his fishing sport for >20 years.

Even on our trip back to dock when he should have been in a hurry, he stopped to have us cast for the elusive Three-tail, willing to take extra time. Caught a couple, too small to keep & eat. Next time!

Four of us went for a 1/2 day (4 hr) fishing trip with Captain Armando and had the best day! He gave clear instructions on preparation and where to meet, and took us to a part of the Everglades National Park that we would have never discovered on our own. He’s a patient and skilled teacher, and since some of us were beginners, having his fishing guidance was incredibly helpful. For those more experienced, you’ll have an equally great time. Captain Armando shares things he’s learned from his 30+ years of fishing in the Everglades, and knows the best fishing spots to go to.
He was a great addition to our group — a lot of fun :)  and very humble. He started the trip by asking us what we were hoping to get out of the day and he fully delivered!
At the end of the day, he filleted the (many!!) fish we caught making it easy for us to throw them on the grill when we got home.

I had such a great time fishing with Captain Armando 2 years ago, I booked a return trip last year (2020). Well, we all know about 2020… I find ally made it back down to fish with him & had a blast! He has the local knowledge, experience & expertise to put you on the fish! I joked with him that the last sweet spot we fished at the end of the day was like a box of chocolates because we pulled out 5 different species of fish!
Captain Armando has a new boat that rides really stable, has an awesome stereo system, & gets to the next spot in no time. When he says “hold on”  he isn’t kidding 😎
He is also a wonderful, kind & patient man!
Looking forward to fishing with him again soon!

We had a great time fishing. Captain Armando’s boat and equipment allowed us to do things that you can’t do on other charters. The boat is fast and comfortable. We covered a lot of distance, and the trolling motor is great technology. There was a great variety of different kinds of fish, and we were catching a steady volume all day. We didn’t catch a trophy, but stayed busy and caught about 50 fish. Captain Armando is agreeable, focused on finding fish, and helpful but not overbearing. He goes the extra mile (or the extra 125 miles) to make sure you have a great fishing trip.
