Although it was a slow day overall for all charter boats on the water that day. Capt Mike was eager to find us a reef where we could bail out blackfish. We switched to seabass towards the end as not many people were catching blackfish. During the day he was calling other captains to see how they were doing and if it was worth going near them.

Mike took 3 of us out. Water was a bit rough for our inexperienced grandson, so we stayed in calmer areas. Mike is very serious about safety and knowledgeable. I will use his services again and would recommend anyone to use Magec Charters.

We went out and he put us right where the fish were. Saw dolphins and whales. But things really turned exciting when we went to a place called “the farm” non stop action, captin and crew were so helpful. Incredible time

Booked at trip for my fathers birthday this year. Perfect day, amazing catch, with a great captain and crew.

Not a great day fishing but the boat and entire experience was great will definitely book with Mike again.
