Sorry you didn’t enjoy your experience more, but I continued to coach your group the whole time fishing. Everyone had a rod in their hand with live bait the whole trip. Had I not been fishing along with y’all we would of caught less. This is a really normal things to do as a guide. I fish with my clients, as every Captain I know does to get more fish in the boat and to help teach through example. You’re group being from Colorado where weed is legal, I have to consider the liability of it being onboard. That’s when you pointed to your son at the dock half joking when I asked. I also I stated that Capts are drug tested and I do not partake. I apologize if it was misinterpreted but I worked very hard with your group though to show everyone the ropes on how to catch fish in saltwater and was very attentive to all of you and gave you the best trip. I wish had you had any issues, you’d of brought them to me personally. Good luck on your future fishing endeavors.

I agree! It was an expensive ride. I gave full warning and reiterated the conditions we were fishing under. I made sure your hooks had live bait and your kids too. Provided you with a top notch experience as far as having everything we needed to make the trip successful. Unfortunately! As I said several times and you understood in my inquiries we were having a tough time with the bite. I’m really hate you didn’t enjoy yourselves but THATS fishing, not catching. I hope you reconsider your future fishing expectations so you aren’t disappointed as much, to give the sport a fair chance. You can’t expect to win at gambling every time in all honesty fishing is exactly that. I did enjoy your company and your family though.
