Absolutely loved our experience with capt mac! The tide & wind was not on our side but capt mac made it the best experience for me and my wife regardless! He had extensive knowledge of the area and assisted in all avenues we needed help on! He was very personable and made the trip well worth it! Thankyou for making our first experience so amazing and regardless of the odds my wife still pulled in a 7 pound 24 inch red fish!! If your hesitant to book don’t be , he did an excellent job !!! 🤞🤞👍👍

Captain Macfarlane did a great job helping us find fish in very suboptimal conditions. The overall experience was excellent and he did a great job teaching us how to target the various species in the area, as well as how to rig up equipment that we weren’t used to. He was happy to help with anything but let us learn on our own when we wanted to, which is always my preference.

Fish just weren’t biting today but we don’t blame Captain. That’s just the way it goes sometimes. He had his hands with us 4 inexperienced fishermen but he taught us a lot. We did not know that spray sunblock was a problem- deters the fish. So we didn’t reapply as we should’ve of….. we’re from OH, so we’re pretty fried to say the least. Capt Mac did an awesome job on a awfully cold and windy March day, 45 degrees and blowing out of the NW at 25MPH, we were able to land a couple of trout and missed a few others. Capt Mac also had his hands full with two 13 years olds but he pressed on trying as many as we could fit it, will definitely book again next time in Tybee

Matt has to be one of the coolest guides that I ever been with,and I’ve been with a lot of them.  This guy never gave up on trying to put fish in the cooler.
