I’m an avid fisherman and have been on numerous chartered fishing trips when on family vacations. We made a late decision and found Joe had an available slot on the following day of booking this trip. I didn’t know what to expect with making a quick decision on zero research. I can say that Joe worked harder than any captain I’ve experienced. He could’ve easily took the easy route and got out of the wind/waves and make life easier on himself. But he didn’t. He worked his tail off, without hesitation, for me and my family to keep us on fish despite less than average conditions. We had storms in the area and he ran through a lot of gas to try to dodge storms and keep us fishing. He fought boat position nonstop and kept us right where we needed to be. We had an absolute blast and the snook bite was constant. We ended up with 15+ snook and most were 20”+. I was extremely impressed with this young captain and will book him again in the future. We had ages from 12-70 on this charter and Joe made sure each of us were comfortable and well taken care of. Great trip, great captain!

Captain Joe was great. Very personable and easy to talk to. I chose him because of the great reviews he had. He was especially great with my daughter (7yrs old). I was worried she’d be bored but he knew how to keep her entertained fishing or helping him the entire time. Afterwards she was asking when we can do it again. We were worried about the weather but got lucky. We started on some Snook right away and there were times we were all on fish at the same time (4 of us). Later we moved to another area with Trout and Jack. All in all, it was a fun day. I plan to do this again.

Captain Joe goes above and beyond to make things happen. His dedication and care to his clients is 2nd to none. He not only put us on fish tight off the bat, he kept us on the fish. Even if we werent on the fish, his demeanor and personality will make it very enjoyable. I’m a disabled veteran and suffer from a litany of medical issues. I was constantly asked if I was ok and helped with everything I needed. All captains should strive to be like Joe. He even noticed at the end of the day while I was waiting on my ride that I was having seizure activity. He came running over, got me my medicine and helped me administer it. If you want an amazing day on the water, look no further than Slobby Joe’s. And the name is very fitting as we were landing offshore size slobs from the inshore waters. I guarantee you wont be disappointed! Thank you again Joe! 1st time in months I’ve so much as left the house and you made it enjoyable to the point I was smiling. (Almost forgot what that was like)

Wonderful half-day trip! The captain is both knowledgeable and entertaining. Highly recommend Slobby Joe, who is anything but slobby.

It was a great day out. He got us to our max for red fish. He knows all the great spots and I highly recommend him.
