This was a great trip for us!  Having Rollie take us out meant him getting us out to where the fish were and showing us how to properly get the fish in and landed on the boat the right way.  My son Blake, raved about how Rollie would tell him exactly what he needed to do, “no second guessing” is what Blake would say to me.  He said this was the most fun he has had fishing!  He had one fish that almost spooled out the reel and gave him a good workout.

For our time there(1 full day, 2 half days) we caught our chinook limit and were able to catch and play other variety’s of salmon.  We only lost one fish off the hook the whole time.  Definitely “Anglers Choice”

Having the Crab traps out for our full day trip was a tasty bonus as we had a bunch of crab to eat the first night there.

When you go out with Rollie you know everything he is doing is going to be done the right way.

Thanks again Rollie and definitely look forward to our next trip.  Hopefully with my other kid so we can bring home more fish!!!

Rollie put us over top of fish, we reeled some in, so great. Kids got sick. I decided to call it early. Was a great day! Kids were 100% back at dock (that’s how seasickness rolls) and they really enjoyed seeing seagulls follow the boat, seal at the dock, and a herring in the stomach of our catch. (10 and 4 y/o, that was their review.)

Wife got sea sick so we had to cut the trip short. Captain Rollie was very helpful and tried his hardest to make her comfortable so we could stay out but nothing was working. He was very understanding when we called it and came in early. Still an experience we won’t forget. At least we hooked a couple and can say we tried. Would definitely recommend him to friends and family and even book again if we head back to the island.

My son and I don’t really fish but we decided to go out and see what we could do. Rollie was great. He set us up and definitely gave us the best chance we had of catching something. We ended up with a good haul and enjoyed every min.

My brother and I spent three half days with Rollie, in the afternoons, and were delighted with the experience. Rollie is knowledgeable, well-able to locate good fishing, and provides a great over-all time.
We caught many large size Chinooks, even though we were not experienced at all in Salmon fishing.
