Both the flounder and Tog season’s are in full swing and the bites are hot. Come on out and get in on the action!

Tog Season is open and the hard fighting bottom fish are chewing! We are currently running inshore and nearshore 4 and 6 hour tog trips. Come on out and have a great time catching some Tautog!!

Flounder season in Atlantic city is in full swing. Mid season just passed, big fish are being caught in the inlet and on nearshore wrecks. Peanut bunker has flooded yhe area right on time keeping the fish nearby and hungry. Seasbass have been chewing pretty strong offshore but the limit for them is still 1 fish per person. We expect flounder fishing will remain steady for a while and right into september. It also wont be long before we will be dropping crabs for tog and chasing false albies.

Back bay flounder fishing is on fire right now. Nearly every trip is producing a bunch of action and some good sized keepers over 21inches. Plenty of bluefish and eveb some weakies mixed in! This is a great time to get out and fish!

Flounder fishing has been very good this week! Lots of keepers, plenty of shorts and some nice sized ones in the mix. May is a great time to target flounder in the calm bays behind Atlantic City.

Spring Tog season is quickly coming to a close at the end of April and it was a good month. We caught countless shorts and every charter took home multiple keepers! Up next is Summer Flounder, running from May 2nd until late September, Flounder fishing is one of captain Mike’s personal favorites and it’s sure to be a great season! The recent addition of Minn Kota’s latest and most powerful trolling motor will provide the best possible drifts in any conditions substantially increasing your chance of catching fish! Atlantic City is home to some of the best Flounder Fishing is southern NJ. Our bays are vast, inlet is great and we have plenty of structure on nearby reefs for late season fish. Early in the season the flounder seek out the warmer waters in the back bay and as summer progresses the fish begin shifting to deeper waters of the inlet and eventually offshore. We tend to start fishing the ocean for flounder in late august and early September although it varies yearly. As of now the Water temp is sitting around 55 in the bays. As long as we don’t have any unseasonably late cold spells here in the near future we should get off to a good start as flounder really begin getting active once the water hits 60F.
