Hatteras. At the helm of Chubasco VI is Capt. Charlton, who has been with the company for over 15 years with many additional years of fishing experience.

Thanks for taking the time to review your charter. The glassy sea conditions which made for a nice ride may have also been a contributing factor to the lack of fish activity. Although it happens rarely, some days, despite our best efforts, the fish aren’t biting.

Thank you for your review. Sorry you were disappointed in your catch. We were fishing inshore, in the area where snappers and other reef fish are prevalent, however barracuda seemed to be the only thing biting that day. Glad the kids got to experience action even if the fish wasn’t edible

I have been on many charters and normally catch some edible fish. The captain is responsible for putting you on the fish and when they don’t it’s very disappointing. When booking captains should be honest and tell you your target fish are hard to find at the scheduled time.

Sorry you were disappointed in your catch. We do our best to get guests on to the fish they would like to catch and always inform them if their requested species is not available at the time of their charter. The species you requested are being caught at this time of year. Earlier in the week we were catching Yellowfin and black fin tuna as well as the skipjack tuna which you caught.
