You booked a 6hr local and you wanted tuna and mahi. Our tuna and mahi trips start at $2600 to $3000. So our 6hr local we catch rockfish, Sheephead, sculpin and bass and this time of year cause water is still cold. I told you water was cold and no surface stuff is really biting that good.  You said you didn’t want to catch that bottom stuff,  So I told you best chance for any surface action would be at least a 9hr trip to Catalina and you still said you wanted 6hr to Catalina and I told you just throw additional $350 which will cover fuel cost. But only gives you about 3 hrs of fishing time. Which doesn’t give me enough time to search around. That’s why we don’t offer that’ trip on the leahklea. Anyway You guys did get a lot of bites and had great opportunities to land more fish. Was trying to teach your group but half of them didn’t understood. If had more time we would have done a lot better. But anyway in the future if you want a specific species just book that type of trip, and if that type of fish is not around I’ll schedule you for another day. I am a great Captain but in this situation you wanted to be the captain and tell me what you wanted and I gave that to you and I tried my best to get you fish but in that short of time was difficult..
