Group were fixed on catching halibut, and thats,exactly a 38” halibut on an anchovy did the trick. San diego bay has some great Halibut fushing.

Windy weather meant we had to change our plans and fish a little tighter to the bank. We headed to the Coronado Bridge. After pulling in a shark and dozens of bass we landed 2 halibut of which one was a keeper.

Great 5 hour AM with a group of out of towners. We headed to La Joll to do some bottom fishing. We had a giant school of yellowtail splash next to the boat. Raidar was full so we dropped down some irons and immediately got hit by two great sid yellowtail.

Fantastic fishing today, we hooked 5 and landed 3. All fish were between 150-250lb the tuna are finally in a good range for us to get them on a full day trip. Many more to cone but this is the biggest weve had so far this season
