We caught 20 fish and were also able to see a shark, dolphins in a dolphin pod, and a blue whale with her baby! I highly recommend this fishing outfit.  Taylor is a seasoned captain and we had a blast!

We used Awol Fishing to go fishing for Yellow tail. Captain Andrew and Max were absolutely incredible. Their knowledge of the fishes behavior, and where to find the led to a very successful trip. They were also very patient with us as beginner open water fishers. Such a amazing day. Thank you again guys!

Headed out offshore to fill our freezer with reds. We caught way more than I expected to. Really was pretty incredible. The captain was very helpful and spent time with everyone individually to make sure they had the best experience. Boat was amazing, really clean and got us fishing nice and quick.

Well for starters before the trip even started Andrew was more than helpful on where to meet where to park and what to bring. He was punctual met us out front and helped us load our stuff on the boat. The fishing experience was awesome he made sure we got on some fish and hit multiple spots. He is very knowledgeable about fishing and the best areas to fish and what’s biting as well. My fiancé and I are new to fishing in the ocean he gave us pointers while we were out there but went above and beyond and recommended to us certain affordable gear to buy and places to shore fish or pier fish around San Diego also great places to eat. To say we had a good time is an understatement we will be coming back for sure if you are looking for a private charter with someone who is knowledgeable and personable look no further. I travelled to San Diego last week to visit friends, and they surprised me with a 3/4 day fishing trip with Awol Sportfishing. We went to the Coronado Islands which I’ve never seen before, and after literally 10 minutes of arriving there, we had two fish on. Never caught a yellowtail in my life, and we ended up with 5! We also caught a ton of bonito which was super fun! Captain Andrew was so dialled in and made the trip unforgettable. He asked us at the beginning of the trip what we wanted to get out of it, and the trip exceeded our expectations. He’s an absolute too, as well as he leant his sunglasses because my raybans went overboard!
Weather was perfect, fishing was amazing, Andrew was awesome, and I hope to make this a trip every time I visit SD. An experience of a lifetime, and yellowtail are damn good eating too!
