    Half a day up the estuary

    Half Day Trip – Shared • 1 adult

    We caught a stack of green backs for live bait in a couple of casts with the net, then pushed down the estuary and anchored on a small artificial reef which we pulled 2 keeper fingermarks and a couple of unders, losing a few more to bad hook ups. We then went to over 10 more rocks wrecks and structures and didnt find another fish holding on them. Pulling up to another wreck we lost a few more baits without a hook up and decided to go and find a croc for the kids on board who were fasinated. Jacob is a passionate guide and put us on the best spots all morning, great knowledge and sounder skills. Highly recommend his charter.

    I would certainly recommend booking a trip with Jacob. He put us on the fish all day and was very knowledgeable and happy to share with us. He was easy to talk to and maximised the time we were fishing for the entire time. We left with fish and great stories.

Barra Bonaza

The fishing has been a Barra bonanza over the last few days with the big run in tides on the morning charter. Bait has been plentiful to gather with the cast net with the barras preference being live mullet. There has been a couple of 'horse sized ones that we have landed a also a few that have got away. you have to be patient when hoping to land one of these trophy fish and let them inhale the live mullet all the way before setting the hook. The black moon was yesterday so the tides will start to decrease over the next week and that will give us the opportunity to fish the deeper holes around the estuary that hold some monsters.
