We booked a half day trip with Captain Frenchy to introduce our young son to the sport of fishing in hopes that he will fall in love with it. My expectations were exceeded in every way imaginable.

Captain Frenchy hooked a big redfish on his first cast and instructed my son to reel it in, resulting in his first landed fish. Having a huge redfish as the very first fish a young boy has ever landed is pretty insane! Especially since the fishing condition was not very favorable with high barometric pressure and low salinity. But Captain Frenchy’s knowledge and experience came through again and again as we continued to hook and reel in all sorts of different types of fish that day. We caught nine different species of fish in challenging conditions! Captain Frenchy is unbelievable. He WILL put you on fish. This was even more apparent at the end of the day as we were cleaning our catch and numerous boats went by the fish cleaning stations without stopping because they had not caught anything that day.

In addition to being a super hero at finding fish, Captain Frenchy was amazing with my young son. He was so patient and attentive with him in giving instructions of what to do and teaching him how to fish. It was absolutely incredible. Needless to say, my son has now declared that he loves fishing (perhaps only if it’s with Captain Frenchy) and we will be repeat customers for life.

Thank you so much Captain Frenchy for showing us a good time and putting us on fish. We can’t wait to go out with you again on the next trip.

I’ve been on a lot of charter trips and this was by far the best trip I’ve ever been able to arrange.
Capt. Frenchy was friendly,  courteous and knowledgeable about where we should fish and was right about every spot we fished.
He made everything easy and fun and I appreciate the fact that he is an avid fly-fisher like me.
I brought my own fly rod but ended up using his.
He and I also discussed the fact that we both enjoy tying our own flies.
I would recommend this trip for novice or advanced anglers alike.
I was also able to catch the largest speckled trout of my life and the largest trout Capt.  Frenchy has had on his boat.
I am already looking forward to my next trip with Capt. Frenchy in the near future.

We had a great time with captain Frenchy! Going out with him is not just about catching fish, it’s an entire experience! We went on a day in the middle of summer during a heat wave and still caught fish! Frenchy can see things in the water that I can’t, and often tells you, you’re going to get a bite before you do. I have fished my whole life and don’t know how he does it! Hence the nickname,  the fish whisperer! He works hard on the boat and doesnt stop until he finds you fish. I will be going out with captain Frenchy again. Highly recommend.

Let me start by saying Capt Frenchy is an outstanding guide.  We booked a half day trip for my grand daughter, daughter and I.  The night before we had a ton of rain and wind.  While other boats were struggling we caught 60 sea trout.  Beyond the fishing he is a wealth of knowledge and a true professional.  He treated my 8 year old grand daughter like family.  Just a great day.  Thank you!! See you next year we we are back in NOLA.

From Texas and have never fished Louisiana before. Could have not asked for a better experience. He put was very knowledgeable and put me on fish right away. I was able to limit out on trout within 2 hours and heard from other Captains that they were only getting about 6 fish for the entire boat. Was not only a great fishing trip but just a great time all the way around. He was great just sitting and talking with. I would highly recommend and will be back.
