- My love for the ocean was born on Grassy Sound Channel. My earliest memories were walking out the back door of the 'minnow shack,' and down a 100 yard pier to board my Grandfather's Penn Yan boat for a flounder trip. This passion led me to a degree in Marine Biology, and a career in the United States Coast Guard. I greatly enjoy helping others make lifelong memories on the water. Whether it is catching lots of fish, seeing turtles and dolphins, or just simply enjoying time out on the water, I strive to provide a safe and enjoyable way to do so! Personally, I enjoy getting offshore and fishing for Mahi and Wahoo. There is nothing like finding the right water conditions after doing your homework and then capitalizing on the bite! Great times have been had bailing Mahi off a weed line and hearing the unforgettable sound of a drag screaming while on the troll!
