- As a child, Captain Jack spent most of his free time either hunting, camping, or fishing with his dad. During his high school and college years, Captain Jack maintained his love for the outdoors and you could almost always find him with a fishing rod in his hand. After graduating from the University of Tennessee in May of 1992, the captain moved to Hilton Head Island for the summer and has been a full-time resident ever since. In 1999, he became a licensed and certified US Coast Guard Captain and has since gained over 20 years of guiding experience. His extreme passion and respect for these Lowcountry waters are obvious and his enthusiastic personality, skill, and knowledge will result in a top-notch, fun, and memorable trip.
