Thanks for coming out & enjoying a day out on the Dirty Delta with me. It was my esteemed pleasure in fishing with you & showing the casting, reeling mechanics, & the importance of lure & bait presentation in trying to catch those finicky Delta Bass! Just imagine if you would have waited a couple more seconds when those 2 fish swiped at your frog! It’s always a treat when they take it down and eat it. Thanks you for the generous tip & I look forward to fishing with you again. For sure, spring time will be more action. Prior to go out in the backyard & practice your casting techniques. Recommend in using one of those rubber weighted fish toys that we get for our kids & tie that to the end of your line so you have no hooks @ injure anyone or anything. Stand on top of the bottom of a milk crate to simulate you are on the deck of a boat & cast into a bucket or the dog’s dish. May your lines always stay tight!
