Background: I was raised fishing in Rhodes Island waters, and I have commercially fished RI for 35 years. I have run charters for over 20 years. The ocean is one of my greatest passions . When I was younger, I was a competitive freediver/spearfisherman and US national spearfishing champion. I am fortunate to hold two world records. The world record speared Striped Bass and pole-speared Striped Bass. Spearit also holds the largest Albacore tuna rod&reel Rhode Island state record. If you have no experience fishing, we are happy to help you learn.
Techniques: Jigging as well as sight casting to breaking fish are among my favorite techniques.

Incredible tog bite continues

Tog are chewing getting prepared for thwir winter hibernation. The bite continues to be epic. Lots of double digit fish this week. With the warm water temp we should still have a great month of fishing .

Knowledgeable helpful friendly. All you need to have a fantastic and productive day fishing out of pt. Judith. Unfortunately the new regulations are so restrictive that can’t bring home any fish home. They are either too big or too small

Hi James, I agree the striped bass regulations are very restrictive. Catching a 28 to 31 inch slot fish can be a challenge. RI does have great ground fishing, black seabass , scup, black fish and cod . All are excellent table fare. You guys did a great job on the stripers with light tackle. It was a fun morning with you and the boys. Thank you for coming out with us.👍 David
