Background: I was raised fishing in Rhodes Island waters, and I have commercially fished RI for 35 years. I have run charters for over 20 years. The ocean is one of my greatest passions . When I was younger, I was a competitive freediver/spearfisherman and US national spearfishing champion. I am fortunate to hold two world records. The world record speared Striped Bass and pole-speared Striped Bass. Spearit also holds the largest Albacore tuna rod&reel Rhode Island state record. If you have no experience fishing, we are happy to help you learn.
Techniques: Jigging as well as sight casting to breaking fish are among my favorite techniques.

Great time and fishing on a 6 hout block trip. We started on the striped bass, and after we caught our slot fish, we fluke fiahed for the remainder of the trip. Great time of the year to fish, leaving great memories for everyone

We hit several amazing diving spots in the Gulf and saw some incredible fish up-close! This was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life, but one of the most rewarding things as well. If you are in good shape and can handle deeper dives, this trip is definitely worth booking!

Hi James, I agree the striped bass regulations are very restrictive. Catching a 28 to 31 inch slot fish can be a challenge. RI does have great ground fishing, black seabass , scup, black fish and cod . All are excellent table fare. You guys did a great job on the stripers with light tackle. It was a fun morning with you and the boys. Thank you for coming out with us.👍 David

For someone who has barely fished in their life, these guys made it happen for me! It was super clear that they knew what they were doing. We caught lots of fish and I learned so many new things on the trip. Not to mention, they filleted the fish so all we had to do was cook it!
