Background
I was raised fishing in Rhodes Island waters, and I have commercially fished RI for 35 years. I have run charters for over 20 years. The ocean is one of my greatest passions . When I was younger, I was a competitive freediver/spearfisherman and US national spearfishing champion. I am fortunate to hold two world records. The world record speared Striped Bass and pole-speared Striped Bass. Spearit also holds the largest Albacore tuna rod&reel Rhode Island state record. If you have no experience fishing, we are happy to help you learn.
Techniques
Jigging as well as sight casting to breaking fish are among my favorite techniques.
