Fun fishing trip, but we had a day that the fish were not biting at all. The Captain was fine but next time I would choose someone who likes being around kids.

We found the fish first thing and put them in the boat with a few good size one in the mix. My seven year old caught two completely on her own. Captain Mike set her perfect so she could do it all on her own. She does have experience but not in this style of fishing l. The rains came in hard and we all for soaked but that did stop anyone. Now we are eating fresh fish that way delicious. Thanks Captain.

My son and I had an enjoyable fishing trip with Mike. He had everything ready to take off when we got there. Mike put us on the right spot with a 4 lb speckled trout in the cooler in less than a few minutes. We missed a bunch but were able to take 6 home. I’m comfortable recommending his charter based on his experience, patience, knowledge of the area, and a very good price. 5Star rating Ken M

Captain Mike was great! We met at the Avalon Boat Ramp in Kill Devil Hills and fished in the bay. The weather was not entirely on our side. It was cloudy, but we were fortunate to have a calm day with little wind. This was our Grandson, Austin’s first chartered fishing experience.  The catch for the day was a White Perch.  Austin told Captain Mike, it is not always about catching fish, but about just being on the water. Started off a little rocky due to the weather but Mike quickly got us rebooked for the next morning. Mike is very knowledgeable about fishing and the Outer Banks and had some cool stories. It was just my son and I and Mike got us hooked up and we fished several areas and were able to land some speckled trout. Great experience and couldn’t recommend Mike more. 10/10!
