We booked the Alondra III and what an amazing experience!!!! While sitting in a local bar on 5th Ave a local from the area recommended Luis Gonzalez as a fishing guide. Luis had great communication and responded quickly to my text messages. I was able to book a 6 hour trip on very short notice. When arriving at the boat we were warmly welcomed aboard by Captain Chakis and his deck hand Daniel. During our time on the water we tried both deep and shallow water fishing. The day started out slow but that is to be expected in November. We passed many other boats on the water and all of them had no luck catching anything. We caught three nice Barracudas before lunch. Captain Chakis beached the boat in a beautiful cove and allowed to swim, snorkel, hike to a cenote and even made us fresh ceiveche with the barracuda. On the way back in Captain Chakis was very confident we would catch another big fish. A half hour before the end of the trip Daniel got me hooked on a monster sail fish. If you’re looking to go out fishing and have a time of your life, I highly recommend Alondra III and all the staff.

Booked online and not through resorts. Highly recommend! Pink trimmed boats easy to find.  Entry and exit to boat was messy/muddy, but rest of trip phenomenal!  Luis and hands worked hard to get us on fish on a slow day. Snorkeling was a nice break for the trip.  15 yr old had the trip of his life and caught a 5 foot Wahoo and we caught some other barracuda. Restaurant cooked catch at end and was better than 5 star restaurant for $40.

Great trip!  Captain and first mate were great and beautiful say with my son.  Only word of warning is getting on the boat with rocks and surf is tough if you are older or have any struggles walking (like me - foot drop).  Other than that well worth the price

I promised my son in law we’d go fishing. I booked the night before and instant response. We were greeted right away, were in the water catching fish within minutes. We caught snapper, devil fish, banana fish, foxy, trigger, puffer, Spanish mackerel and got lucky to land a barracuda. The current was dead but captain Luis knew how to keep finding the spots. Cap Luis is very helpful and shows you how to fish even if you’re a rookie.

Getting to location early allowed easy parking nearby. All captains are very helpful around and quickly connected us with our captain.We really wanted to fish for game fish but Luis warned us it would be slow going for game fish. He mixed it up for us with some bottom fishing then some trolling and finally a bit of bottom fishing to finish out the day. Very friendly and communicative, willing to do what we asked for.
