The day started with high expectation as the full moon had passed. After a short run of 35 minutes, we began trolling for the day's target species: billfish, mahi mahi, and tuna. After a quiet hour, we tracked down a gigantic school of spinner dolphins and birds. In no time at all, we were into tuna, mahi mahi, and mackerel. After the clients had their fill, we moved a short distance away from the school. We raised 1 marlin and 3 sailfish, which resulted in 2 sailfish releases. What a great way to spend a bachelor party!

Today's clients were experienced anglers from Florida looking for a good day on the water, no species in mind. We started the day trolling for billfish: we raised two marlin and four sailfish, but they would not take the bait. We moved a little inshore looking for Mahi Mahi. After a short period of time, we were into big Mahi who put up an amazing fight. The guys spent the afternoon catching huge Mahi, most of which were released alive.

Our clients came to Tamarindo in search of billfish after an unsuccessful trip in Cabo. The day had a promising start with clear skies and blue seas. Our search for billfish soon produced a quick hit on a long rigger. After a good fight, a beautiful sailfish was successfully landed and released. Around lunch time, we found a huge school of spinner dolphins, but were unable to get any tuna bites, so our billfish search resumed. We soon after hit another sailfish that was successfully landed and released.

The weather was fantastic and the sea conditions were calm for this 3/4 day charter looking to catch dinner. The day started with grouper fishing, and they loaded the boat in no time. Everybody was reeling in multiple catches. We then tracked down a large school of spinner dolphins. We were looking for Mahi and Yellowfin Tuna, and we found them almost immediately. The Mahi catch was plentiful, and we safely released 20 at the client's request.

The Lucas guys had a successful 3/4 day charter. They landed lots of Mahi for dinner, and Bob (the grandfather), finally caught something other than a skipjack! The highlight of the trip was hooking two sailfish at one time and then successfully landing them.

We started the 3/4 day charter looking for dorado, as the customers wanted something for dinner. The bite was good, everybody got to land their own dorado. After the clients were happy with the amount of dorado that they had for dinner, we went searching for billfish. This took us offshore into very blue and calm waters. After spotting a few sailfish, we hooked into a very nice blue marlin. The marlin took over an hour to land and almost everyone took a turn reeling the marlin in. This resulted in a very nice 700lb blue marlin which was released.
