seemed resigned to the fact we would not catch anything when fish too small for the hooks kept falling off rather than changing for a smaller hook to at least try land something

I don’t think this charter should be advertised for 4 people as it would be difficult for all to fish simultaneously with that size boat and with only the captain as the crew.

Had extremely high hopes for our private charter and was looking forward to it as the highlight of our Puerto Rico trip but left underwhelmed, disappointed and with not a single fish. Captain and crew member weren’t very engaging or helpful and didn’t seem determined at all to make our experience a memorable one. Was more of a lazy cruise. Was very dissatisfied with the whole experience especially after paying that price tag.

Unfortunately trip was completely empty, no fish at all. 4 hours of cruising without any result. Happens, although it was weird even in shore we could not get any fish, which never happened before.

I don’t ever leave bad reviews especially when it affects your income, But Man! Not one fish. $700 for a wet boat ride was a waste of time and money. The kicker was that there was not any apathy.  No sorry about your luck. Just pay me and Get off my boat attitude.  Good guides are on the water all the time and are following the fish habits.  They know where they are and where to find them.
