- Hello, I’m Captain Jason Rogers, I was raised between the Pacific Northwest and Destin, Florida, I was born into a life on the water. A third-generation professional fisherman, my journey began in the Pacific Ocean working alongside my father in commercial fishing, where I learned early that the ocean demands discipline, preparation, and respect. In my late teens, my father was lost at sea — a loss that changed the course of my life. I stepped away from fishing and became a marine diesel mechanic, dedicating my work to keeping boats safe and helping crews make it home to their families. Learning vessels from the inside out still shapes how I operate today, with safety, reliability, and preparation guiding every trip offshore. But the water never stopped calling me back. Through faith and purpose, I returned to fishing in 2011 and launched my charter business in Destin, combining decades of experience with a lifelong respect for the sea. Today, I fish the Gulf with families, first-time anglers, and seasoned fishermen from around the world. Both of my sons have worked independently as deckhands aboard my boat over the years, continuing a family tradition built on hard work, safety, and respect for the water. Because a great charter isn’t just about catching fish. It’s about trust, experience, and memories that last long after the dock lines are tied.
