Rennie Clark
Member since December 2021
Wilmington, United States
- Background
- Captain Rennie grew up on the canals at Holden Beach, NC. From the time he could walk he was fishing. Shortly after graduating from UNCW, the captain got his captain's license and started guiding in 2006. Captain Rennie fishes professional redfish tournaments from the Carolinas to Texas. He has amassed over 100 top 10 finishes in professional fishing tournaments since 2003.
- Techniques
- Captain Rennie uses the lightest tackle possible to pursue the size fish the crew is looking for. While offshore fishing, he uses metal jigs to catch bottom fish. The captain also uses metal jigs to sight cast to schools of Mackerel, Bonito, False Albacore, and other fish as it feeds on top of the water. Inshore, Captain Rennie pursues Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Redfish, Sheepshead, and Flounder on light tackle as well.
