Despite the scattered thunderstorms and choppy waves in the bay on Thursday, we had a successful 4 hour trip and came back with a cooler full of Black Drum!

Great day of catching drum on light tackle despite the winds!

Inshore fishing is afternoon was beautiful , light wind, and sunny with a nonstop bite of red and black drum!! Great afternoon!

We have been castnetting the most choice bait and fishing very close to niceville . The size of the these reds have been varied from 16 inches(under slot) to 39 inches( well over slot) with plenty of keepers in slot(18"-27"). We use live minnows and medium lite action setups to ebsure the absolute most enjoyable time possible with these super sporty inshore beasts!!

In the last couple of weeks as the water has been getting warmer, we have seen an increase in Redfish activity with a good mix of sizes from juveniles to larger bullls.
