Background: Having grown up in a military family and transferring to the Panhandle, some of my best times spent growing up was wade fishing the area bays with my Dad. Later, as a teen, I started work on my first charter boat here in the Gulf.
Techniques: Fishing from a 21' Parker Center Console equipped with an I-pilot trolling motor, I prefer inshore Bay Fishing the many places our bays & bayous have to offer. I enjoy the fight & finesse it takes fishing with lighter tackle.

Despite the scattered thunderstorms and choppy waves in the bay on Thursday, we had a successful 4 hour trip and came back with a cooler full of Black Drum!

Redfish are hot hot! ?

We have been castnetting the most choice bait and fishing very close to niceville . The size of the these reds have been varied from 16 inches(under slot) to 39 inches( well over slot) with plenty of keepers in slot(18"-27"). We use live minnows and medium lite action setups to ebsure the absolute most enjoyable time possible with these super sporty inshore beasts!!

The Redfish are biting!

In the last couple of weeks as the water has been getting warmer, we have seen an increase in Redfish activity with a good mix of sizes from juveniles to larger bullls.

Jake was great with my kids and we had a great time, he answered all their questions and they thought he was really funny. Although my daughter skunked us all we all had a really great time and will definitely be coming back again for another go!

Although very windy, captain Jake put us on some fish (with some keepers) and we had a great time on the water. Definitely would recommend and will go with 2nd Chance next time we visit. We had a very enjoyable outing despite the windy conditions.
