Awesome trip and Capt Matt was outstanding.  Guided us through everything we needed to know and put us on the fish. Everyone caught in the double digits. Everything from trigger fish, to gray snapper to red grouper. The weather on our original day was rough. Capt Matt called two days before and suggested we move it to ensure and better trip. We have the time in our schedule so it worked perfectly. Highly recommend Mow Fishing Charters and Capt Matt

We had a great experience fishing with Captain Matt. It was our first time fishing in saltwater, and Matt provided us will all of the necessary information to be as successful as possible. He was extremely knowledgeable of the area and the craft, and was happy to answer all of our questions (no matter how simple they may have seemed to an experienced angler).

Since we were beginners, we required a lot of assistance - From adding bait to our hooks, untangling lines, and casting, Captain Matt went above and beyond to make sure we were spending as much time as possible fishing.

While we only caught a few smaller fish (no keepers), it was likely a result of scheduling our charter in December directly after a cold front. That being said, Captain Matt was diligent in chumming the water and moving locations to give us the best opportunity to be successful.

Overall, we had an awesome experience on Mow Fish Charters and recommend Captain Matt to anyone looking for a similar experience.

My experience with Captain Matt was beyond reproach. I was a bit nervous and unsure of what to expect.  We started with a safety brief to include what will be expected on my adventure. He addressed all of my concerns and made sure I was comforatable before we left the dock.  Captain Matt went to a few spots on our trip and we were able to catch and keep quite a few fish.  I had something large on my line, but unfortunately it broke off.  That was definately exciting to feel how strong some of the fish can be!  I gave the 5 star rating for the Captain and crew because he was both.  He made sure we always had a line in the water, Captain Matt did not skip a beat. The entire time he explained what each fish was and what to watch out for while handling them.  Captain Matt had everything available on his boat to get the job done.  I would recomend his charter and will be booking again in the future.

Captain Matt got all of us on the fish! It was a beautiful day on the boat and plenty of filets for fish tacos that night. Boat was clean, plenty of bait, attentive captain and waters in the cooler. We all had a great time and absolutely would go back out with captain Matt.

My 12 year old son and I had a fantastic morning fishing with Captain Matt. We caught a lot and were fortunate enough to be able to take home enough to make dinner for the family. I couldn’t recommend Mow Fish Charter enough!
