Hi Teresa thanks for the feedback. I apologize for any missed information there was about your trip you booked, fishing booker only allows me a small description of each trip so unfortunately i can’t fit all the details in the description. But i do send a confirmation text with a lot of details about the trip and it does say to bring a towels a rag or paper towels in it as well. And i usually have 2-3 other rags to use to wipe hands with as well. You booked a 4 hr nearshore shark trip, not a half day offshore trip. The state of Florida has a huge fishing industry thus we have a lot of regulations on what fish we can keep. Our main goal is to take customers out on a fishing trip to catch fish when they want to cooperate, if it’s something we can keep it’s a bonus. There was nothing brought to my attention that one important thing about this Trip was to bring fish home to keep. I’ll never give false hopes on a trip I’m here to make sure you have a good time. I would of recommended an offshore trip for that or even the local fish market before i would take you out on a trip where i think we might not catch a fish to keep. I wish i could control the fish and make them bite but unfortunately that’s the nature of the beast and what keeps us coming back. I have a picture of the nice size shark your husband had caught I’m glad we were able to at least get that one for him! I hope you can understand a little more about all the obstacles that we work with to try and make the trip work for you and give it another shot. Thanks again

Hey Greg I’m sorry we didn’t meet your needs for a 5 star trip. I take all the trips very serious and like to address any issues. As for the fishing well that’s how it can go some days. Inhad a trip in the morning and i had told you guys it was a tough bite, we had a young boy on the boat that would have really appreciated the sharks you caught. It’s unfortunate for him that none of the bites we had stayed on. I’m happy for you that we were able to catch a couple. As far as myself being personable i like to think i am I’m just a very laid back person I’ll spark up some conversations and I’ll answer questions the entire trip. Always polite and informative. I did explain what kind of fishing we are doing and what a bite will look like and how to handle the rod. We started off trolling with live bait i explained that it is light tackle fishing and what all is involved with that. I had said we have been getting a better variety of fish trolling such as kingfish, Bonito, barracuda, and sharks.  Unfortunately we missed our only bite doing that so we picked it up and made a move to try some shark fishing. You saw that i out a large fish head on one hook and a big chunk of fish on another hook and cast them out. Im not real sure what you wanted to know about the cut bait exactly but i would have been happy to answer the question you had. I explained that the rods are set up in freespool and what it would look like for a bite and to just leave the rod there. You asked me what kind of fish we might catch using the dead bait i explained it’s mostly shark but we catch a variety of other types as well such as tarpon, stingrays, red drum and Goliath grouper. As a whole it was a tough day of fishing, was very hot outside as well. I like to make everyone’s trip pleasurable if i can.

Hey Jeff, sorry about how you feel about your trip. I’ve been in this line of work for a long time but this is a new business for me and would like any feed back, good or bad to help improve. No issues were brought to my attention the day of the trip. I try to have the boat ready and clean and be friendly, the only thing out of my control is how the fish bite, which i know we had a slow bite for the bigger fish that day. Any details of why you don’t recommend us as a charter would be appreciated
