- Captain Taylor is one of the few female guides providing year-round fishing adventures. She loves to share her passion for fishing while providing a fun and safe trip for clients. She was born and raised around the Portland, Oregon area and has spent years fishing in both Oregon and SW Washington. Fishing experience is not required. Captain Taylor encourages anyone that wants to get out and enjoy the outdoors to come fishing!
- Techniques
- Generally, Captain Taylor spends most of the time trolling bait and/or lures with flashers (either triangles or 360s) but depending on water conditions, anchoring if applicable. If any specific accommodations are needed to make your trip more comfortable, please let the captain know so you can talk about it. Much can be done to customize equipment or change the boat layout. Captain Taylor's boat is not wheelchair-accessible but someday she hopes to have one that is. If you have an assistant and don't mind being lifted into the boat at the dock, it can make be done (and they can fish for free). Service animals are also welcome!
