We started late leaving out due to a storm. But one the way out to the platforms that we like to fish around 60 us miles. We catcht a nice wahoo. Shortly after we showed up to a platform and started trolling. Bam instantly hooked up we fought the first fish for about 45min before we could stick a gaff in it. It was about 70# and after that it was just a steady bite and yeah we lost 5 good ones but we caught 5 biggons and well over 30 smaller ones. The october fish bite has been on fire. From pelagics to bottom fishing. The water is starting to clear up closer to shore and is beautiful further out which makes for a great fall bite. Book now while the fish bite is red hot. If you have a problem finding a condo to stay in( because some took some damage from the storm) just reach out to us and we can point you in the right direction.

Its fall and the fish are here. The mackerel have finally shown up and are biting really good on our trolling trips. The vermilion snapper amberjack and grouper bite is great this time of year. We even found a nice school of mahi one trip nd loaded up.The tuna action offshore is starting to spark up.

Amberjack and vermillion snapper are biting strong....trigger fish just went out of season......want to get your hands on some tasty vermillion snapper then all you got to do is just book a 6hr trip and we'll put you on them...if you want to play tug a war with one of the strongest fighting fish in the gulf then come catch you some amberjack along with some vermillion snapper(8hr or longer recommended)...grouper is still in season so if you want a little bit of everything book a 10hr or longer....if your just intersted in 3 or 4hrs the mackerel bite has improved big time...the mahi mahi (dolphin fish) should be showing up close to shore anytime now as well.....a few yellowfin tuna have showed up at the rigs so book a overnighter if you want to battle some of these bad boys(we also catch blackfin tuna, amberjack, grouper, vermillion snapper, possibly some mahi mahi, wahoo, bigeye tuna, marlin and the elusive sword swordfish.
