Booked a back to back inshore fishing trip with Captain John and had an absolute blast!! Both days caught my limit of speckled trout as well as a few bonus fish such as my first ever shark and a monster alligator gar!! Be ready to expect seeing lots of dolphins as well as other wildlife while on the trip out to fish! I’m 75, my brother is 81.  Don’t infer that either of us is old and feeble. But spending a day on the water with Captain John took years off.  We caught a lot of oversize reds, but since we weren’t here to fill a freezer, that was okay.  If your goal is to walk away with a lot of fish, then go to a fish market.  But if you want to spend the day in the company of a true gentleman, then book a trip with Captain John Chauvin.

John runs a great fishing charter. Communicates well, works hard to find the fish. We fished on a day that was not favorable due to high winds and less than ideal water temperatures but was still able to land a few monster Bullreds.
