It was a beautiful, calm Louisiana morning. My guest and I grabbed some breakfast and set out for our short ride to the fishing grounds. Within 15 min we were casting our lines. Immediately we were reeling in snapper, along with mackerel, blue fish, shark and redfish. The guys only wanted the snapper, so we released all the other species we caught. In a couple hours we returned to the dock to clean and pack their catch for their drive home. Thanks guys for another Fin-tastic time on the water.

It was another beautiful day on the island for my crew from Florida. Ed, Bobby, Danny and John climbed aboard for their Fin-tastic Louisiana fishing trip, and we set sail to the promised land. We hit our first stop and started catching some nice trout. The tide stopped there, so we made our way to the next honey hole where we boated a pile of redfish and channel mullet. Then my crew said they were up for snapper action, so we rode out to one of my favorite rigs and caught a mess of snapper and Spanish Mackerel. After filling the 150 qt ice chest to the top, we headed in so I could clean and bag their catch for the long trip back to Ft Myers. We ended the day catching 15 redfish, 30 speckled trout, 40 channel mullet, 5 Spanish Mackerel and 12 snapper. Thanks again guys for coming fish with me. Capt John Fin-tastic Charters

It's that time of year. The time of year people from all over the US come to Grand Isle La to have fun filling their freezers' full of Louisiana Speckled Trout. We left out at 6AM and made the 10 min cruse to the spot where these speckled wonders reside. By 8:30 we had fill the 150 qt ice chest with 125 speckled trout and were heading back to the marina to clean our catch. My father & son crew from Wisconsin, Randy & Jason, had a great time reeling in some nice trout today. The winds were still blowing a good 15 - 20 mph from this last front that moved through, but that didn't stop us from catching 40 nice trout before their lunch date with the wives. Thanks again guys for coming fish with me. Hope to see yall in the fall for a Bullred trip..

Man, you couldn't ask for a better day... "You could, but I don't think you would get it", lol. David, Daryl and Jeremy came down to wonderful Grand Isle and filled the boat with fish. The weather was great and the fishing has been off the hook. They caught 100 trout averaging 2+ lbs, had some bigger ones in there, and caught redfish, sheepshead and flounder too. Thanks again guys for coming have a Fin-tastic fishing trip with me. We gonna do it again when yall come next month.

Well Scott & Shannon had a awesome morning. We left the dock around 7am after a few rain showers passed. It was a breezy morning, but it was a nice ride to the fishing hole. First shannon reeled in a really nice bull redfish, then it was nonstop trout action. Reeling in fish after fish, it didn't take long for them to catch our limit for the day. 75 trout and 1 bull redfish by 10:30. Not a bad morning. Now yall can go relax and enjoy the beach. Thanks again for another Fin-tastic Charter.
