There were three crew on the boat.  Only one interacted with us and then barely.  They threw their used water bottles and empty cigarette boxes into the ocean like it was their garbage can.  The one that interacted with the most (again barely) was actually a captain of another boat that wasn’t rented so he tagged along.

Drove in a circle around an oil rig the entire trip, didn’t try anywhere else when no fish were caught.  Four lines out, only replaced the bait once on only two of the lines.

The bait was dropped only 75 feet behind the boat (their words) and were literally skipping on the top of the boat wake.  I have done other trips and the bait were so far back you couldn’t see them, and they weren’t skipping across the top of the water.  And we were trolling very fast, faster than I have on previous trips (with other boats). 

I feel like they were purposely trying to not catch anything so as to not do the extra work of getting someone squared away to reel in a fish, kill it, store, etc.  Overall a very poor experience.
