Took my 12 year old son out with Capt Ryan.  Great trip with lots of action - we caught redfish, black drum, trout, ladyfish and jacks. We also had a large tarpon on briefly before jumping and pulling the hook (the tarpon run was just beginning so was fun to have a shot at one). Excellent experience, Captain Ryan used his vast knowledge of the river to repeatedly put us on the fish.  Along with catching fish, Captain Ryan was willing to share his knowledge of the river, fishing spots, and techniques.  I caught 8 or 9 large fish; snook, tarpon, jack, and 5 or 6 speckled trout. Even with the bite being slow. Captain Ryan worked his tail off and put us on some fish. He is one of the best captains I have been out with. He shows you exactly where and how to put your bait to catch fish. We also seen many dolphins, a manatee, and a bunch of bull nose rays.
