We did a half day of near-shore shark fishing. Due to conditions, we stayed in the bay. We had a great time fishing, catching numerous sharks, stingrays, and some smaller fish we used for bait. Weather didn’t look like it was going to cooperate all week, but we got a break and was able to still go. 6 hour morning trip and for five hours it was slow, even lost several that were initially hooked. Went out with my wife and son on a near-shore sharking trip with Mark and his mate Jake. Strong currents, little sun to start, but with patience we hooked into a big one on a bluefish head off Assateague Island in like 17 feet of water… 9 minutes later my son pulled a sand tiger shark to the side of the boat. As a group of six from the UK 🇬🇧 we had a fantastic time with Mark and Jacob. They were really nice who took time to explain how the trip would go and nothing was too much trouble for us inexperienced anglers! We landed a five foot black fin shark and had great photos and memories that will last a lifetime. Would highly recommend and will definitely choose Captain Mark and Jacob if visiting again.

Mark was a great Capt.  He was very knowledgeable and personable. His mate Jake was a very hard worker. Also very knowledgeable.  They both made you feel very comfortable from the time you stepped on the boat. We booked 2 trips with them. We landed 7 sharks ranging from 3 -7 feet and missed 3.
