We had a terrific time out on the water. Our inshore half-day got us plenty of Spanish Mackerel, along with some King Mackerel, tilefish, and bluefish. On our offshore trip, each of the younger boys in our group boated a Wahoo, and we also got a number of dolphin; compared to what other boats came in with that day, I’d say we did pretty darn well. The boat was quiet but fast, with a large, air-conditioned cabin and all the equipment needed. Captain Jessie was polite and competent, particularly on the offshore trip, getting us into a school of dolphin. Amp, the mate, was some sort of nautical energizer bunny, constantly working to get us the best shot at catching fish. Both were great with all of the boys, and told us what they were doing, and asked us what we wanted to go for, explaining the options and letting us decide. Although some of us have done some pier fishing, we were all novices on the charter boat fishing scene, but we were in good hands. Top it off with some great weather and the sapphire blue of the Gulf Stream, and it was a great time to be out on the water.

This boat was purpose built for this type of outing. It is one of the quietest,  vibration free, and smooth riding sport fishers that I have experienced.  The captain and her crew know the area well and put you on fish without delay.  The boat is very well equipped with a wide array of high quality well maintained tackle for any type of fishing.  The salon and afterdeck are well appointed making this boat suitable for most any group.  Our expectations were exceeded and I would charter this trip again.  If only I had more time to do so.  And, yes, we caught fish.

We fished for tuna and knocked them dead. Excellent experience the boat is spotless. The captain and first mate were terrific. I will definitely book Carolina Girl again. We have been on many charters many places and this experience rates as the best ever
