My son and I had a great time with Bob who made every effort to help us reach the maximum allowable catches!

Our fishing trip included 2 grandparents and 3 grandchildren (10,12 and 14 years old). We met Captain Bob Matlock at 6am and off we went fishing. Captain Bob has 30 years of experience fishing in Port Alberni and we benefited from this. Captain Bob was a teacher and has great experience with kids. He was professionnal, kind, helpful and his equipment was top-notch. Under his guidance, we were lucky enough to meet our quota. We greatly recommend captain Bob Matlock. Thank you captain Bob!

Pour ce voyage de pêche, nous étions 2 grands-parents et 3 petits-enfants âgés de 10,12 et 14 ans. Nous avons rencontré le capitaine Bob Matlock au quai à 6h du matin et nous sommes partis pêcher sur son bateau. Nous avons pu bénéficier des 30 années d’expérience de pêche du capitaine Bob à Port Alberni. Capitaine Bob a eu une longue carrière d’enseignant et il est à l’aise avec les jeunes. C’est un pêcheur professionnel, gentil, aidant et son équipement était des plus modernes. Sous sa gouverne, nous avons été suffisamment chanceux pour rencontrer notre limite de possession. My son and two of his work friends had the pleasure of going out with Bob for a 6 hour salmon charter.  Bob was a super skipper.  Knows the area well, very friendly and outgoing. Very easy to spend 6 hours with.  He knew exactly where to go and were were able to limit out on some very nice Sockeye.  I have been on quite a few charters over the years and I would state that this was the best of them all.  Having a skipper that participates with the guests is outstanding.  Oh yes, and he also knows how to fish!!!
