Captain John and his son, first mate Christian, gave my daughter Rachel and me an awesome experience.  They put us on the coho from the first cast until we maxed out in 2 hours!  We have enough fish to last months and to share with friends and family.  Highly recommended!

I have three children that have very different levels of interest and experience in fishing. My teenage son only enjoys to fish when the catch is active (not waiting long for a bite). My daughter would prefer to stay in and watch a movie. My youngest son loves to go fishing and can fish for hours (even when nothing is biting his line).  Our fishing experience with Captain John Gonzales was wonderful. He has experience and is very knowledgeable. I can tell he is very passionate about fishing and truly enjoys it, and wants everyone to enjoy their fishing experience. His boat was very clean, well maintained & equipped, and he especially cared about my children’s safety. Thank you Captain John Gonzales for the unforgettable experience and memories that we will cherish! My youngest son tells all his friends that ‘you haven’t fished until you fish on a boat’. Everyone had a great time and we will definitely be fishing with Captain John Gonzales again!

Great experience off shore! Captain Gonzales was knowledgeable and so was his crew. We ended up catching 14 Soho salmons that day.

Weather was iffy to start but John navigated us south of the rains to fair weather and to great fishing spots.  We caught three King Salmon and three Coho Salmon.  One of the King Salomon was 29” and another 28”.  Awesome experience!
