Gary’s lifetime of experience truly shows. He knows his way intricately around Everglades to find you what you’re looking for even when the fish don’t always cooperate. The day started out slow but we kept moving to new spots until we found what we were looking for. We also got to spot some amazing wildlife. Dolphins, crocs, sharks and even a bald eagle along the way. We went around 70 miles through the area and were able to work multiple methods to find success in the given conditions. I’ll be back

I wholeheartedly recommend booking a trip with Capt Gary Skrobeck.  I have fished with a lot of guides in fresh water, salt water, mountains and flats and Gary is without a doubt one of the very best guides I have ever used.  He knows the area, puts you on the fish and is really fun to fish with.  He doesn’t even criticize my casting!  We targeted tarpon and snook and hooked up quite a few.  I will definitely be fishing with him again.  Book a trip with Gary and you will be very happy that you did.

Had a great day with Capt Gary - went looking for bonefish on the fly, even though it’s not quite prime season. Then, went after snook and Gary put me right on them. I booked this trip based on the reviews of previous clients Capt. Gary had taken fishing and they sure held true! He was a great from the very beginning. We had high wind and he had a game plan in order to keep us shielded. He took us to a spot that produced on the first cast! From there on it was game on. My main objective was to get my girlfriend catching fish and he was very attentive to her helping/ coaching her the entire day. I think she actually out fished me! He put us on a school of snook and it was like we were right there on the NatGeo channel live and in color. It was a memory I am certain all three of us will remember for our whole lives. All and all I would definitely book a trip again with Capt. Gary and highly suggest you do as well. Next time we are in the keys we will be fishing with Ivory Keys.

My son and I booked two full day trips with Captain Gary.  The first day was great weather and we couldn’t keep the fish out of the boat.  We caught a bunch of Snook, Snapper and Jacks,  Captain Gary was a great instructor and adapted quickly to our level of ability.
The second day brought a strong westerly wind and made fishing difficult. Captain Gary kept adjusting to the conditions and worked hard to get us on some fish.  Even with the difficult conditions we still caught several Snook, trout and Jacks.
Captain Gary is a good fisherman and a better person.  I am looking forward to booking another trip with him.
