Can’t recommend Capt. Gary enough. It was the first trip to the Keys for my son and I and Gary put us on some great fish. The first day we caught the Backwater Slam with Snook, Reds and Trout. The second day was filled with a morning full of Tarpon chances and while we tried our best we just couldn’t get hooked up, but that was our fault, not the Capt. We learned a lot and would do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks, Gary!

Capt. Gary was amazing! My dad and I had a lot of fun. The unusually cold weather unfortunately killed a lot of fish but Capt. Gary went out of his way to keep trying different spots till I finally caught a snook. We were out on the water for more than our scheduled time as Gary was determined we leave with at least 1 catch. Captain Gary is very professional, experienced and patient. Gary helped me and my wife catch snook, redfish, sheepshead, jack crevalle, speckled trout, and ladyfish. Great trip!! Definitely will book with Gary again.

Gary’s lifetime of experience truly shows. He knows his way intricately around Everglades to find you what you’re looking for even when the fish don’t always cooperate. The day started out slow but we kept moving to new spots until we found what we were looking for. We also got to spot some amazing wildlife. Dolphins, crocs, sharks and even a bald eagle along the way. We went around 70 miles through the area and were able to work multiple methods to find success in the given conditions.... More

I wholeheartedly recommend booking a trip with Capt Gary Skrobeck.  I have fished with a lot of guides in fresh water, salt water, mountains and flats and Gary is without a doubt one of the very best guides I have ever used.  He knows the area, puts you on the fish and is really fun to fish with.  He doesn’t even criticize my casting!  We targeted tarpon and snook and hooked up quite a few.  I will definitely be fishing with him again.  Book a trip with Gary and you will be very happy...
