We took a family fishing trip with Captain Ted and had a really enjoyable experience.

From the start, Captain Ted impressed us with his communication and focus on safety, even offering to postpone our original trip due to choppy conditions. We appreciated the honesty and were glad we rescheduled.

The water was calm enough, but the bite was slow that day. Captain Ted explained that there are highly reliable fishing spots on the ocean side and that with the right conditions this can be a very productive trip. He made a thoughtful call to prioritize safety for a family outing, which we appreciated.

Despite the slow bite, Captain Ted and his crew were patient, friendly, and interactive with our children, and we still caught a few fish. When things slowed near the end, Captain Ted was flexible and helped us audible to swimming with pigs on a nearby island, which turned into a highlight for the kids.

If you’re looking for a family-friendly charter with a captain who communicates clearly, prioritizes safety, and adapts to conditions, this is a great option.

After 5 minutes on the boat it was like fishing with an old friend.  Capt Ted was personable, knowledgeable, accommodating and just plan fun!!  We had a great time on his boat.  The fishing action was so hot that we barely got to take photos.  Don’t let the lack of pictures fool you, we caught a total 25 fish, including Strawberry grouper, Red Snapper, Yellow tail snapper, Grunt, and Magaret fish (a new species for me) My brother and I fish all over the east and gulf coast, and this trip ranks at the top.  We will Charter Capt. Ted on our next trip to Paradise island. But more importantly we made another fishing buddy!  Thanks again!

Everything was just great! We did a half-day in the morning. Captain Theadore was right on time, and took us to a couple of locations to ensure we caught plenty of fish. He gave us a lot of added value, from baiting our hooks, to removing the fish, and giving us explanations of the fish we caught. He also played tour guide, pointing out local landmarks. He made us all feel very at ease, with some very wide-ranging and engaging conversations! He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and we would wholeheartedly recommend his tours to others. Captain Ted and his crew were so knowledgeable. They made our trip so much fun even though the weather wasn’t exactly cooperating with us. If we are ever back in the Bahamas, we will definitely be hanging out with Ted again!

Had an absolute blast on the water with Cpt. Ted and his son! Brought my girlfriend and I out for a day of fishing and caught a bunch! literally one bite after another. Would recommend this crew to anyone who is in the market to try fishing in the Bahamas. The crew itself is extremely friendly/accomadating and most importantly knows where to fish and how to catch them! 10/10 experience.
