I have been coming to St Simon’s Island for 50 years. I have been fishing with many different charters over those years. This is the best charter I have ever experienced. Captain Dave is relentless and his efforts to catch fish! The Boston Whaler is comfortable, clean and well equipped. My granddaughter and I, and a good friend, had the best day ever.!

CPT Dave and his 1st Mate were excellent. A slow paced start with smaller fish allowed for teaching and sharing techniques before going after the monsters. We were able to catch a variety of species and stayed busy reeling! Thank you Double-Down Charters. You gave my family memories that we’ll talk about forever.

We had a good trip. The wind got up on us this morning. We could not fix the spot. We wanted to fish because of the seas were too rough, but went back in and caught a few fish and the winds died down went back out, hung in some big fish, but did not land all of them but overall had a good trip

Double Down Capitan David Tucker and Crew got us to the spot where the big ones hang out and we ended up hitting our limits. He has the set up to make it an enjoyable experience. When we are back we will be going out with Capitan David Tucker and his Crew again!
