From Orange Beach to the Marina he met you at was a 23 minute drive. In the name of having your best odds on a holiday weekend that’s not a bad drive. The backwaters of Orange Beach had extremely to much boat and jet ski traffic along with a shallow water system to ensure a high success rate this weekend. We both wish you couldve kept the nice Snapper and Grouper that you caught but like the Captain explained multiple times keeping fish that are out of season is not an option. Landing Red Snapper and Grouper on an inshore trip is special in its self, not many places is that possible. Our team does everything possible to ensure the best trip possible for our clients. That is why the Captain told you to be sure to save his number and that if you give us enough notice to ensure availability that your next trip would be FREE. For a trip that yielded Rd Snapper, Grouper, Mackerel and Trout that’s not a bad deal. Again we apologize that the seas were rough and your trip changed but the safety of our passengers and Captains is our first priority. We look forward to next time under better conditions!

I would like to first apologize that your fishing experience ended up with less action than both of us had anticipated. No one on the boat wants you to catch big fish or a bunch of fish more than the Captain. We can’t provide for our family’s and make a living taking everyone fishing once. When it comes to fishing, our success rate is very high but we dont always fill the cooler. Captain Craig had three trips the day of your charter and two of them went well. So many factors including moon phase, tides, barometer movement and of course the ol’ we’re just not hungry right now can make things tricky. Even though all of those things are out of our control we are the only guide service i know of in this part of the coast that advertises “You’ll catch fish or your next trip is free”.  Our business has been built on exceeding the clients expectation. For the amount of anglers you had and the amount of time you were on the water, harvesting 1 Redfish and 4 Mangrove Snapper doesn’t meet my threshold of “Catching Fish”. If you are ever in the area again we would love another opportunity to show you what a great fishery we have. The next trip is “Free”. If you decide not to give us another opportunity under better conditions, I would understand. If you do decide to reschedule please give me as much notice as possible to ensure availabilty.
