The captain and mate were great, worked hard for us. Always checking gear, always seeing if we needed anything.
Very knowledgeable of the fishing and of the area.
BBQ at the end of day was as good as it gets, he handles the fish as good or better than most.
Was a great day, only 4 fish, but that had nothing to do with them

As with all of life, it is the people we meet that make the journey worthwhile.  Captain Derek and first mate Arnold created an awesome fishing adventure for us.  They are professional fisherman who are passionate about their sport and eager to share it with guests.  My wife and I have been on several chartered fishing trips and this was the best!  We learned a great deal about Curacao and about fishing for barracuda, wahoo, tuna, and marlin.  While we didn’t land the big wahoo, we did catch tuna, bonita, and two nice-sized barracuda and learned a lot in the process.  Of course, the cooler was well stocked and we enjoyed some tasty freshly-caught black fin tuna sashimi afterwards.  I would recommend Captain Derek and will use him the next time I am in Curacao!
