We had a great time on this trip! Captain Matt and Greg were super knowledgeable and took us to some great spots. We barely got our bait wet and were catching fish! We caught huge red snappers which we had to release unfortunately, a bunch of big black sea bass, an atlantic sharpnose shark which we released also and a lot of other fish. Took a cooler full back home to Nebraska! The water was a little rough at first for us land lubbers but we had a great time! Thanks to Matt and Greg for lifelong memories!

6 hour trip with Captain Matt

The entire experience was exactly what we needed! If you are looking for a captain who can provide a private and pro fishing trip out to sea, Matt knows what he is doing and we felt in good hands the entire time! The fishing was so great that we left exhausted and bruised up (literally) from how much action we had to fight on the reels!!! We did the 6 hour trip and are happy with that time/distance per value . The bigger boat was a comfortable fast ride out there (most comfortable seating I’ve experienced on a boat at sea) and the bathroom was a plus. The service this captain and mate gave kept the bait on the lines and the fish pulled off and put into the cooler faster than we could ask for the help….. plus they kept us pretty entertained with some good conversation. If we had any sort of drift or change in activity Matt made sure to keep us on track in his favorite spaces to be. We left with some amazing cleaned and cut fish along with a satisfied result so much so that we plan to come take another trip with Matt and his team again in the future! We really enjoyed our day of fishing with Captain Matt and Greg! From the minute we met them at the outpost they were both friendly and helpful and never let up all day. Matt knew where we needed to go to catch fish and we definitely caught some nice ones including a beautiful Wahoo and large black fin tuna. I would recommend Matt and his boat to anyone looking for a superb day of fishing with good equipment and a hard working crew. Capt. matt and Greg were exceptional.  Caught multiple fish and types of fish.  I am 55 and I was very comfortable in seas that turned high.  He took an alternate route back to avoid hitting the swell head on for us. This crew is great.  Highly recommend this trip.  Our next trip will be a Gulf Stream trip with them.
